At Noovo, evolution has always been part of the process.
This year’s Evolution Day brought the Noovo community together to look at where we’ve been, where we’re headed, and what we’re building next. The event, held at the Noovo HQ in Las Vegas on September 10th, gave owners and the broader Noovo community a behind-the-scenes look at how owner feedback, continuous improvement, and new ideas are shaping the next generation of Noovo vans. We unveiled the 2027 Lite and Plus, shared what’s new across the lineup, and took a closer look at the technology and design behind Next. Most importantly, Evolution Day was a reflection of what makes Noovo different: we listen, we learn, and we keep building better.
During his keynote, co-founder Paul Aubert reflected on how far Noovo has come: from a road trip from San Diego to Argentina in a school bus, to a growing community of more than 600 owners and a team of nearly 150 people building vans today. But for Paul, growth isn't about the number of vans leaving the factory. It's about the people using them to travel, work, spend time outdoors, and experience life differently.
That philosophy is also why Noovo remains a direct-to-customer company. Staying close to owners creates a feedback loop between the people using our vans and the people designing and building them. As Paul explained, Noovo shouldn't evolve behind closed doors. Evolution Day was a way to bring our community into that process and share what we've learned, what we're changing, and where we're headed next.
That feedback is already shaping the next generation of Noovo vans.
During Evolution Day, VP of Engineering Kyle Bassett shared several of the updates coming to the 2027 Lite and Plus. Many of these ideas began with innovations introduced on the Next, then evolved through testing, owner conversations, and a closer look at how people actually use their vans.
Across both models, 2027 brings a new ducted air conditioning system, with multiple ducts positioned throughout the cabin to distribute air more effectively and keep the living space comfortable. The single induction cooktop is also being replaced with a dual-burner Invisacook system, which sits beneath the porcelain countertop to create a cleaner, more versatile work surface when you're not cooking.
Both models also receive a new Contour microwave, convection oven, and air fryer combination, giving owners more cooking flexibility in a compact footprint. In the bedroom, indirect lighting creates a softer atmosphere, while redesigned electrical outlets and faster USB charging bring a more modern feel to everyday use.
The Plus gets several updates focused on making its spacious, flexible interior even more functional for everyday living.
The refrigerator is now larger and slimmer, adding useful capacity while maintaining the clean feel of the kitchen. The workstation behind the driver's seat has also been redesigned with more legroom, a larger desk, dedicated cubbies, USB and USB-C outlets, and a folio for important documents, a meaningful upgrade for anyone who works remotely or uses the space as a daily office.
The electric lift bed now lowers further for easier access, an update made in response to owner feedback. Storage in the lounge has also been reworked with two separate hatches, making it easier to access and organize the space. Even the armrest and table have been upgraded to laminated Baltic birch for improved durability and resistance to everyday wear.
The Lite receives many of the same core improvements, including the ducted A/C, dual-burner Invisacook cooktop, new microwave/air fryer combination, refined USB charging, and redesigned electrical outlets.
One especially thoughtful update is the addition of dedicated hidden storage for Starlink and wireless accessories in the living room armrest. Rather than having connectivity equipment take up valuable living space, it's now tucked away while remaining easy to access when you need it.
The Lite also benefits from the new indirect bedroom lighting, bringing a softer atmosphere to the sleeping space while maintaining the simple, comfortable character that defines the model.
The 2026 Next represented a major step for Noovo: an entirely new AWD platform, new electrical architecture, new interior approach, and increased technology and capability. Now, many of the ideas introduced with the Next are helping shape the evolution of the entire lineup.
That's really what Evolution Day was about.
